Private Photography Lessons

Private lessons are the fastest way to learn photography. Suitable for absolute beginners, we’ll get off automatic mode and cover the most important buttons and functions on your camera. F-stops, ISO, and shutter speeds will be explained in simple English — no confusing technical jargon.
The class rotates between teaching and doing. You’ll see clear examples and demonstrations, then put them into practice as we photograph Hillarys Marina.
By the end of the session, you’ll be confident using your camera in a range of shooting modes — and ready to take consistently great photos.

What you’ll learn

• ✓ Understand light and exposure
• ✓ Understand lenses
• ✓ Exposure (ISO, Shutter speeds, F stops)
• ✓ Photographing different subjects from landscapes to portraits through an understanding of depth of field.
• ✓ Learn how to freeze and blur movement.

Requirements

DSLR or mirrorless camera. No prior photography knowledge is required.
